Five New Character Posters For Coen Brothers TRUE GRIT

When it comes to remakes there’s not many out there you could actually say they where worth the remake but it looks like the list could be getting bigger with The Coen Brother’s adaptation of the 1969 John Wayne movie TRUE GRIT. Now John Wayne’s character Rooster ย Cogburn is now the dude aka Jeff Bridgesย and also stars Haliee Stansfield, Josh Brolin and Matt Damon take over for the 2011 as the other lead characters. I’m not a western fan probably never be but Ill hold my hands up and say this movie reeks of coolness andย ย Empire Onlineย has exclusively (along with Imdb) revealed 5 new character posters which you can check below:

Synopsis: Fourteen-year-old Mattie Rossโ€™s (Hailee Steinfeld) father has been shot in cold blood by the coward Tom Chaney (Josh Brolin), and she is determined to bring him to justice. Enlisting the help of a trigger-happy, drunken U.S. Marshal, Rooster Cogburn (Jeff Bridges), she sets out with him โ€” over his objections โ€” to hunt down Chaney. Her fatherโ€™s blood demands that she pursue the criminal into Indian territory and find him before a Texas Ranger named LeBoeuf (Matt Damon) catches him and brings him back to Texas for the murder of another man.
