First Look At ‘The Creature’ In Guillermo Del Toro’s Frankenstein
Guillermo Del Toro projects are exciting prospects especially when it’s based on his favourite books like Frankenstein. Last month we got a glimpse at the teaser trailer, today it’s the first look at the creature.
Netflix today have released a number of new images from the upcoming film. Including several of Jacob Elordi as that creature and other cast members in there full splendour.
Next to Elordi the film will star Oscar Issacs as the titular madman with Mia Goth as his fiancee. The rest of the cast will also star Felix Kammerer, David Bradley, Lars Mikkelsen, Christian Convery, with Charles Dance, and Christoph Waltz.
Del Toro has been renowned for his film’s usually horror or dark fantasy. Mary Shelley‘s classic novel considered essential part of the horror genre, if anything the horror of human nature. Del Toro has stated Frankenstein won’t be a gothic horror, playing on the romantic element with a lot of emotion.
Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro adapts Mary Shelley’s classic tale of Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist who brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.
There is still no announced streaming date for Frankenstein apart from we can expect it to premiere on Netflix in November.
