When Ali G was regularly on our TV screens back in late 1990s early 2000’s he was BIG. The came Borat with more pranks and victims both characters with humour which is even more risque these days. Many will ask, has the Baron Cohen ran out of new ideas? Ali G is one of his most popular creations.
Ali G: Who Iz I? After 20 years of shenanigans, Ali learns his Julie (Morgana Robinson), is 8 months pregnant . The unexpected news has forced Ali to rethink his life now he is now faced with an extra mouth to feed. Where can he go ? America!
I’ll be honest, Ali G was funny for 5 minutes and when TV presenters like Richard Madeley start s to mock Ali it becomes cringeworthy. This film will be one for the hardcore fanbase, this teaser gives you a taster of the pranks. Mr G has aged and now modelling dreadlocks
Synopsis | After twenty years spent “chillin’, tokin’ and bonin’”, Ali G is shocked to discover that his long-term girlfriend, Julie, is 8 months pregnant. Faced with an extra mouth to feed, he gets off his batty and heads to America to reclaim his former glory… but soon encounters adversaries who will ultimately threaten his and his child’s very existence. Sacha Baron Cohen’s new film, ALI G: WHO IZ I? marks his directorial debut and will be released in cinemas on October 23 by Amazon MGM Studios.
