Rarely do we celebrate achievement of completion of the impossible, Eddie The Eagle  Edwards achieved the impossible, been first Great Britain’s first Olympic ski-jumper.This afternoon let’s ‘Do The Eagle’ In new UK trailer whatever you do young man don’t forget your box for your medals for the Olympics

Eddie the Eagle follows the realisation of the childhood dream of Eddie, and his unflinching determination to become Great Britain’s first Olympic ski-jumper. Reluctantly aided by former ski-jumper Bronson Peary as his coach, Eddie is unwavering in his quest to reach the 1988 Calgary Winter Games. Eddie the Eagle is an uplifting, inspirational story that celebrates human spirit, passion, and one man’s refusal to accept defeat.

Since the film made a surprise world premiere at Sundance Film Festival the buzz for the film has been going strength to strength. Many films that celebrate unsung heroes especially ones who have made a name for not winning don’t always do well. However this one is picking up 4 and 5 star reviews which essentially great making this one worthwhile and not a lost cause even if the man behind the film was a lost cause.

Whilst the the first trailer picked up on Eddie’s determination to succeed in his childhood dream, the new trailer plays on the humour and struggles he went through. The moral of film is don’t be defeatist celebrate trying and fulfilling your dreams as this is a feel good movie!

Eddie the Eagle is  the official film partner of Sport Relief 2016, which takes place Friday 18th – Sunday 20th March. The partnership has been formed to help Sport Relief raise as much money as possible for people living incredibly tough lives right here at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest communities.
