Chosen, Do It, Fear Watch New UK TV Spots For Gangster Squad
The second weekend of 2013 will see the arrival of the first 2 big anticipated films for this year Les Miserables and Gangster Squad and today we have our hands on 3 new UK TV Spots for Gangster Squad.
Gangster Squad is based on Paul Lieberman’s book set in 1949 the film stars Josh Brolin a former cop who returns from military service in World War 2 and goes to Los Angeles to lead a Police task force to take on the organised crime creeping into LA from East coast lead by mobster linchpin Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn).
My mum used to say to me every time I had an itchy nose ill get good luck, I wonder if this is the same factor about Ryan Gosling who admits the suits he wore in Gangster Squad gave him a rash! Though like any true acting professional they used it to as a positive as Gosling said he channeled the irritation into his performance “The wool was quite itchy, so I had a rash,” Gosling explained. “I channelled that irritation into my hatred for the gangsters.”
Gosling’s co star Josh Brolin also admitted to the suits been “itchy and tight” too, but Gosling revealed that the real person his character is based on used his clothing to his advantage too.
“His kids came to the set and told me a lot of stories and a lot of great details,” he explained. “Like, when he would ash his cigarette, he would ash into the cuff of his pants. Then at the end of the day, he would dump out his cuffs, dump out all the ashes.”
Gangster Squad is due out 10th January 2013 and stars Sean Penn, Josh Brolin, Emma Stone,Michael Peña,Ryan Gosling, Robert Patrick , Anthony Mackie and Nick Nolte.
