Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Gets First Epic Trailer

From Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Wakanda mourns, as Marvel Studios release the first Trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Need I say it? Yes Marvel yesterday revealed MCU Phase 5 and 6, they released this promo for the much anticipated sequel.

A lot of questions were asked about this film after the sudden death of Chadwick Boseman. King T’Challa aka Black Panther, could they make the film without the lead actor or simply not make out of respect to Boseman? Director Ryan Coogler answered that question at the Comic Con Panel. Even 2 years after the actor’s death things are still fragile, emotional. Coogler states the new film will explore more of Wakanda and the MCU universe. Showcase a nation in mourning whilst introducing more classic Marvel characters.

There is a scene which many have assumed is for the funeral procession for T’Challa. It could also be for the hidden Aquatic Atlantis universe and King Namor (Tenoch Huerta) better known in Marvel comic books as the Sub-Mariner. Both nations secretive, both now known to the outside world. Both have been at war too, could this be a truce happening? The film will also introduce the genius young woman who would become Ironheart, replacing Tony Stark.

Now the exciting part is the end, the Black Panther! But who is in the suit?

Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje, fight to protect their nation of Wakanda from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia and Everett Rossย  and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda.

The cast includes Letitia Wright as Shuri, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Florence Kasumba as Ayo, Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, Michaela Coel as Aneka, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, and Angela Bassett as Ramonda.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be in UK, Irish and U.S cinemas from 11th November.
