Billy Crystal To Host The 2012 Oscars!

Just when it looked like chaos was about to destroy the civilised order of the Academy but now the house seems to be in order and thankfully now we can looked forward to the 26th February 2012 as Billy Crystal will host the ceremony. The Academy of Motion Pictures And Sciences decided to play it safe and go for Oscars favourite in Crystal  to host the 84th ceremony making it his 9th awards.

After a week that Ratner would probably want to forget about with his anti gay comment slurring his name deeper into mud then day later the the directors friend Eddie Murphy who was to host the ceremony resigned probably in support of his friend. Brian Grazer has stepped into Brett Ratner’s shoes and will produce the show and its ironic also Grazer was also the producer of Ratner’s latest flick Tower Heist!

Last year the Oscars tried to get young update having James Franco, Anne Hathaway presenting it seemed to have been very mixed reception unfortunately more towards the disaster. Many critics calling Crystals 3 minutes of fame as the best part of the whole 83rd  Awards so playing it safe is what Academy need at this stage no more problems and rest assured Crystal and Grazer will get the job done relativity  hassle free.
