Armour Up Watch First Trailer For Ultraman Anime Season 2!
Netflix have released the official first Trailer for Season 2 for CG Anime Ultraman.
Ultraman may not be as known in the West as Godzilla, however the original manga and TV show is equally a big part of Japanese pop culture and the franchise is still very influential. Over 2 years after the first series was released we finally the streaming giants announce April the second season will arrive.
It’s time to armour up as things will heat up as six warriors team up for what lies ahead. Kotaro Higashi is a photographer who unearths a missing persons case that the aliens are still involved after taking a photograph. However an incident leads to Kotaro getting superpowers, a new Ultraman? If he is, he must face a cosmic weapon that intends to destroy Earth.
Kotaro Higashi, a young photographer, encounters a mysterious missing persons case. He takes a photo proving that it was the work of aliens and brings it to the SSSP with his girlfriend Izumi. However, a certain incident transforms him into a superhuman with incredible fiery superpowers

Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki have directed the new series, with Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Eden of the East, Napping Princess) creating the animation. Tomoaki Maeno will voice Higashi with Maaya Sakamoto as his girlfriend Izumi
Ultraman Season 2 will premiere globally on Netflix, including UK and Ireland from 14th April.
