You’ve had the fabulous 8 hour documentary on Disney+ from Peter Jackson, now it’s time for the iconic gig. The Beatles’ famous concert on the rooftop of Apple Corps’ Savile Row headquarters is set to be screened IMAX® screens later this month.
The unforgettable rooftop concert took place nearly 53 years ago on 30th January 1969. Now fans of the band can relive the 60-minute feature at an Exclusive Event Screening with a Peter Jackson Q&A on 30th January!.
“I’m thrilled that the rooftop concert from ‘The Beatles: Get Back’ is going to be experienced in IMAX, on that huge screen,” says director/producer Peter Jackson. “It’s The Beatles’ last concert, and it’s the absolute perfect way to see and hear it.”
The concert, which features in its entirety in Peter Jackson’s original docuseries The Beatles: Get Back, which will be optimized for IMAX screens, digitally remastered into the image and sound quality to give you the IMAX Experience®.

After The Beatles: Get Back–The Rooftop Concert IMAX event the concert will then run in cinema from 11th until 13th February. The complete docuseries, The Beatles: Get Back, will also be available on Blu-ray in the UK on 28th February.
