Only a few weeks to go Frightfest fans until th 11th annual Film4 Frightfest kicks off and the whole festival will finish with Daniel Stamm’s THE LAST EXORCISM.

AICN have got their hands on a new exclusive shorter trailer that works really well with the previous trailer and the movie runs like a horror ‘documentary’ and when you mix in deep south of America, demonic possession well its one for the scare the crap out of me brigade. When you see the possessed girl briefly crawling upside down on the roof coming to you it does injure a brown trouser moment,this looks good!

So if you like the film style of say Paranormal Activity with demonic possession maybe you should check this one out! The movie is due out in America the same weekend as the Festival (27th) and I believe the UK release cinematically is going to be a week later on September 3rd but that could change.

The movie stars Patrik Fabian, Ashley Bell, Louis Herthum, Iris Bahr, Caleb Landry Jones and Tony Bentley with executive producer Eli Roth.

After a career spent helping the devout through prayer and trickery, Reverend Cotton Marcus (Patrick Fabian) invites a film crew to document his final fraudulent days as an exorcist. Soon his faith is truly tested when a desperate plea from the father of a possessed girl (Ashley Bell) brings him face to face with evil itself.

The Last Exorcism is released in cinemas nationwide on 3rd September 2010.
