Vertigo Releasing have dropped the new official Trailer for the wildly romantic indie Erupcja starring Charli XCX. Teasing our musician turned actor finds herself at a crossroads in love and life.
Peter Ohs‘ film has been doing the rounds of the film festivals the past 12 months. Now Vertigo Releasing have announced the film will debut in UK cinemas next month. Talking of festivals we reviewed the film at Manchester by our writer Leoni Horton. She described Erupcja as “an extraordinary film, full of profound ideas and sublime artistry“.

The synopsis for this one, we follow two childhood friends whose love lives get complicated. When one of them introduces their new boyfriend to the other.
Next to Charli XCX (The Moment), this one stars Lena Góra, Will Madden (Jethica, The Wolf of Snow Hollow) and playwright and actor Jeremy O. Harris (Slave Play).

Synopsis | Set in Poland, Erupcja follows two women as they complicate their romantic lives. Nel (Lena Góra) lives in Warsaw where she works at a flower shop. When her childhood friend Bethany (Charli xcx) comes to visit with a new boyfriend, a volcano erupts.
Erupcja will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 5th June.
