Blue Finch Film is releasing this in the UK with Eli Roth‘s The Horror Section presenting the film. If you enjoy retro style films from the 1970’s or 1980’s drenched in neon, you’ll love Joe Begos.
Jimmy And Stiggs takes us right into the world of Jimmy who seems to be constantly stoned. He claims to have been abducted by little grey aliens and now needs the help of his old friend Stiggs to survive the carnage.
Begos and his regular collaborator Matt Mercer make up the cast for this film, which played FrightFest in London last summer and divided audiences with its lurid chaos.
Synopsis | Out-of-work filmmaker Jimmy Lang (Joe Begos) spirals into a bender, and claims to have been abducted by aliens. Fearing their return, he contacts his old friend Stiggs to help him gear up for war. The two party-hard friends must reconcile their differences if they’re to survive the all-out carnage and otherworldly body horrors of an explosive and terrifying alien attack.
Jimmy and Stiggs is released in the UK and Ireland following a successful international genre festival run, including Beyond Fest, Sitges Film Festival and FrightFest.
