His Time Has Come…Watch The New Logan Trailer

His time has come and Wolverine will be going out in a blaze of glory this March when Logan arrives in UK and Irish cinemas. After the absolutely the powerfully emotional first trailer which teased the end of the road of our favourite adamantium-clawed mutant. Now we have a second UK trailer which reveals a little more of the plot of the movie and officially reveal the young girl is Laura better known as X-23.

He’s older, he’s grey, gruffer, his powers are declining and the pain is overtaking his mind and body but she’s like him.He must protect her even if the end of the road is nigh. After receiving the recent news of the inclusion at next month’s glamorous Berlin Film Festival, the buzz reached sky high levels. That’s not to say it wasn’t before that news when we caught the first trailer then we knew this was going to be no ordinary movie.

In the near future, a weary Logan(Hugh Jackman) cares for an ailing Professor X (Patrick Stewart) in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are upended when a young mutant (Dafne Keen)arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

You wanted violence and the new trailer provides more evidence, with a little taster that reveals Laura can slice and dice like Logan. From the opening scene of the trailer, she’s stealing pringles and sunglasses and Boyd Holbrook’s Donald Pierce gets carved like a Sunday roast.

There seems to be a message of family unity going on here too and our ‘wolvie Junior’ has two mentors. Everything feels more grounded and real paying a lot of homage to Mark Millar‘s Old Man Logan graphic novel. It’s a bleak world “This is the real world. People die.” our mentors our young mutant after a glimpse of an old X-men comic. This is a different kind of superhero, a different kind of intriguing movie on our hands. What ever you do let Charles Xavier get something to eat as well as a good night’s sleep…He’s “fucking 90”.

Logan arrives in UK&Ireland on 1st March (USA 3rd) starring Richard E.Grant, Stephen Merchant, Elizabeth Rodriguez.
