Power Rangers ‘Morph’Into Action In New Trailer
Go Power Rangers! Those multicoloured superheroes with mystical powers last year unearth an unexpected anticipation of the cult 1990s TV show was getting a reboot. The wait has been long but teasing is nearly over and today we get a second UK trailer which showcases some fan favourites and essential cameos.
After numerous images, posters and a teaser trailer that hinted this big screen version will be more at home with Max Landis Chronicle than it’s TV version. Rewinding back to the beginning telling the story from day one morphing into action!
Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove — and the world — is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers.
We get to see Rita Repulsa (Banks) unleash her pain on us mere Earthlings, next to the first look at that gigantic holographic face of Zordon (Cranston).Repulsa also seems to have borrowed those giant rock monsters from Darren Aronofsky‘s Noah but what about those Zords?! Together are they Optimus Prime in disguise? It’s not quite Mighty Morphin just a little more grounded are you ready? This is your time!
Starring Dacre Montgomery, Becky G, RJ Cyler, Naomi Scott and Ludi Lin, alongside Elizabeth Banks and Bryan Cranston, Power Rangers arrives in UK&Ireland 23rd March (24th USA).
