D.C  need someone to save their movie universe and today Warner Bros may have found their saviour, her name is Diana Prince. After the Summer’s epic Comic-Con first trailer, we get a second Wonder Woman UK trailer  and our favourite Amazonian Warrior Princess is ready to defend the world . The war to end all wars, she can’t fight anyone because she has courage, power and wonder!
Despite several D.C movies released this year, a lot is already on Wonder Woman to save their deteriorating movie universe. What we get here is plenty of new action-focused footage and glimpses of who might be her villain played by Elena Anya (The Skin I Live In).
Wonder Woman is released in cinemas around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action-adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
The footage has been exciting despite been a lot been release with more than 8 months before the release. A mixture of old school action mixed with CGI which blends nicely and feels more kinetic. The trailers may show this follows the same gritty, colour palette as seen in the previous DECU movie, but we’ve been promised this will have humour. The new trailer that humour shines through and the end Lucy Davis (Diana Prince Secretary) may have stole the show.
Wonder Woman stars Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewan Bremner and Saïd Taghmaoui. The movie will arrive on UK&Irish Shores 2nd June 2017.
