Picturehouse Entertainment have finally released the Official UK Trailer for Joanna Hogg’s The Souvenir Part II. At the end of September we got a chance to watch the American Trailer now fans of the original will be enchanted by the follow up.
Honor Swinton-Byrne returns for the sequel wannabe filmmaker Julie. Picking up after the destructive events of the first film and the death of her drug addict boyfriend (Tom Burke). She starts to use the pain of that relationship creatively in her filmmaking as she attempts to move on.
Since that American Trailer our writer Freda Cooper watch the film at BFI London Film Festival. If you enjoyed the first film there be a satisfying conclusion to Julie’s story call the film a “emotionally and artistically rewarding experience“.

The film’s cast includes Jaygann Ayeh, Richard Ayoade, Ariane Labed, James Spencer Ashworth, Harris Dickinson, Charlie Heaton, Joe Alwyn, and Tilda Swinton.
The Souvenir Part II will be released in the UK and Ireland from 4th February 2022.
