The film is directed by Justine Triet which won the Palme D’Or at Cannes. A whodunnit that hopes to play with your mind with relationships strained and conflicted. The trailer certainly teases the tension as they try to unearth who is responsible.

German actress Sandra Huller is a writer married to a French man and with their son, they have been living in a secluded town in the French Alps. Her husband is found in the snow, but was it suicide or was he killed? The police investigation opens up a can of worms to the troubled relationship.

The trailer tries to show Sandra is not a monster to her son, she will be the obvious prime suspect. However that is not always the case, the boy was the only witness, he’s also blind.

For the past year, Sandra, a German writer, her French husband Samuel, and their eleven-year-old son Daniel have lived a secluded life in a remote town in the French Alps. When Samuel is found dead in the snow below their chalet, the police question whether he committed suicide or was killed. Samuel’s death is treated as suspicious, presumed murder, and Sandra becomes the main suspect. Little by little the trial becomes not just an investigation of the circumstances of Samuel’s death, but an unsettling psychological journey into the depths of Sandra and Samuel’s conflicted relationship.

The film also stars Swann Arlaud, Milo Machado Graner, Antoine Reinartz, and Samuel Theis. Anatomy Of A Fall will be shown in UK and Irish cinemas from 10th November.
