We love Documentaries and so do Netflix and they have an intriguing Docu-Series arriving next month, Surviving Black Hawk Dawn, watch the official Trailer below.

Surviving Black Hawk Down, is a three-part series and aย  360-degree telling of the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu. Whose events served as inspiration for Ridley Scottโ€™s Academy Awardยฎ winning film Black Hawk Down. Mostly focused in two downed Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. Which the American soldiers defended with every bullet until they were rescued and the series has interviews with some of the former soldiers.

โ€œRSA are thrilled to bring this compelling story to a new audience with Netflix, almost 25 years after Ridleyโ€™s iconic movie. Itโ€™s a gripping tale, and powerful and moving to hear from both US forces and Somalis for the first time.โ€ said Dominic Crossley Holland, RSA.

Nearly 25 years after the film was released, we think it’s good for fans of the film to truly understand and immerse. Raw stuff and now this series gives you the perspective from also the Somalian side of things.

Surviving Black Hawk Down tells the gripping real story of the horror and heroism behind the events that inspired Ridley Scottโ€™s blockbuster movie Black Hawk Down, blending raw, immersive storytelling with first-person interviews from both sides of The Battle of Mogadishu.
