Watch The Unnerving UK Trailer For The Wild Indian

Vertigo Releasing have debuted the unnerving UK Trailer for upcoming sleek and stylish psychological thriller, Wild Indian starring Michael Greyeyes. Two men bound together thanks to a dark violent secret from their childhood.

Through our travels this year on the film festival circuit, the one film that’s been picking up consistent solid reviews, is Lyle Mitchell Corbine Jr’s film. As well as Greyeyes (Fear The Walking Dead, True Detective) the film also stars Jesse Eisenberg and Kate Bosworth.

The film tells the story of Makwa and Ted-O, two Anishinaabe men, are inextricably bound together after covering up the savage murder of a schoolmate. After years of separation following wildly divergent paths, they must finally confront how their traumatic secret has irrevocably shaped their lives.

This film is proving you don’t need A-list actors to deliver a fantastic film. If you have a great story, great performances you have a great film on the cards. This one certainly looks it, harrowing, noirish, powerful stuff.

Decades after covering up his classmate’s murder, Michael (Michael Greyeyes) has moved on from his reservation and fractured past. When the man (Chaske Spencer) who shares his violent secret seeks vengeance, Michael goes to great lengths to protect his new life with his wife (Kate Bosworth) and boss (Jesse Eisenberg) from the demons of his past.

The film’s cast also includes Chaske Spencer and Lisa Cromarty, and Hilario Garcia III.

Wild Indian will first make it’s UK Premiere at next month’s BFI London Film Festival on 13th October [buy tickets]. The film will be released in UK and Irish cinemas  as well as Digital Platforms from 29th October.
