Now add Jennifer Sheridan‘s Rose: A Love Story which is about to make it’s world premiere at the London Film Festival we get a look at the official Trailer.

The film is the directorial debut for Sheridan, a love story in a post apocalyptic. A young couple attempting to live through a relentless illness , living alone. Their quiet sheltered life is shattered when a stranger arrives.

Once again for a debut feature, impressive. The trailer teases the film is full atmosphere, dread, unease, terrifyingly the film resonates with the coronavirus in many ways. Very claustrophobic and we cannot wait  to see the twist on the vampiric myth too.

Sam (Stokoe) and Rose (Rundle) live a quiet life. Hunkered down in their remote woodland farmhouse, they spend their days far from the prying eyes of the outside world. Rose uses the peace and quiet to work on her novel, while Sam sets traps, hunts animals and goes to work fortifying the hidden cottage they call home. In another life, their world would seem idyllic; but Rose’s mystery illness has clouded any sense of normality that the couple may achieve.
