Watch the Teaser for Elizabeth Holmes Doc: You Can See Everything
A new teaser for an upcoming documentary by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim centred on Elizabeth Homes, titled You Can See Everything, has just dropped at the Telluride Film Festival. The project is set to present the controversial business woman’s endeavors, including founding her company, Theranos, in 2003, to being indicted for fraud in 2018.
Holmes promised the world a revolution in blood testing when she claimed her company had discovered new methods which required a mere finger prink of blood to conduct a test. 2015 saw the business woman cited by Forbes as the world’s youngest and richest self-made female billionaire based in the states, thanks to her company offering a $9-billion valuation.
However, her world came crashing down once it was uncovered by The Wall Street Times in 2015 that her machinery did not work as she promised, leading to a trial and 11-year-prison sentence.
Nonetheless, the business woman takes to Oppenheim and Fielder’s camera to assure, “I’m not that person, I can promise you that.”
Reports have surfaced that the co-directors struggled with finding talking heads to speak on Holmes, her company and her trial, with citations that she is “toxic.”

Additionally, it’s been confirmed that Fielder actually moved into Holmes‘ house with her during filming in the months leading up to her imprisonment.
“I really am struggling to this day to understand exactly what I experienced,” the filmmaker stated in a Q&A at the festival. “And one of the things I’m genuinely excited about is for this movie to come out and for people to help me understand what I experienced.”
“Truly, to this day, I don’t quite know what I went through,” Fielder concludes.
A24 will distribute the documentary.
You can also see presentations and depictions of Holmes‘ bizarre and shocking story in a podcast titled The Drop Out by ABC Audio, in addition to a 2022 Emmy-nominated miniseries of the same name by creator Elizabeth Merriweather and starting Amanda Seyfried as Holmes.
Oppenheim has also debuted his Chris Hansen-centred dramatic biopic, Primetime, starring Robert Pattinson, at the Venice Film Festival, with additional film credits including the docs Some Kind of Heaven from 2020 and Spermworld from 2024.
You Can See Everything hits cinemas this October.
