Watch The SUPER 8 Superbowl TV Spot

We’ve been virtually teased since last summer about JJ Abrams/Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi thriller very little footage or even plot details and and thanks to the superbowl Paramount Pictures & Dreamworks have released this awesome TV Spot for SUPER 8!. First impressions its like old school ala 1980’s like a cross between Stand By Me meets Close Encounters (but replaced by a bigger monster!). When the teaser from summer 2010 came out there was no cast but now we have a cast which consists of Kyle Chandler, Elle Fanning, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Amanda Michalka, Zach Mills, Gabriel Basso and Ryan Lee.

Things were getting a bit of a worry that no footage or plot details appearing when the release date Stateside is June 19th, but for all of us here in UK & Ireland we have a slightly longer wait of August 19th. So is this movie worth the antcipated movie for 2011? What we see here I would say so, Oh boy 2011 looks like a massive improvement on 2010 poor show.
