A24 has revealed the first trailer for the Rose Byrne comedy-drama If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, which you can watch below!
The film debuted to critical acclaim at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and also played in competition for the Golden Bear at the 2025 Berlin Film Festival. Byrne won the Silver Bear for Best Leading Performance at the same festival.
Helmed by Mary Bronstein, it co-stars Conan O’Brien, Danielle Macdonald, Christian Slater and ASAP Rocky. The movie continues A24’s hot streak that has recently seen the critically praised (and occasionally Oscar-winning) likes of Heretic, The Brutalist, Warfare and Bring Her Back.
Official synopsis:
Written and directed by Mary Bronstein, If I Had Legs I’d Kick You centers on Linda (Byrne), who with her life crashing down around her attempts to navigate her child’s mysterious illness, her absent husband, a missing person, and an increasingly hostile relationship with her therapist.
If I Had Legs I’d Kick You is released in the USA in October with a UK release date to follow.
