Watch The Epic First Offical 6 Minute Trailer For Cloud Atlas

If you’ve been following the events of this film past few days, the trailer leaked online a little too early and yesterday the film was announced part of this Years Toronto Film Festival. As film fans wait patiently for the trailer to arrive and the wait is now over as you can now enjoy the epic first official trailer and 6 minute trailer for Cloud Atlas!

When it comes to The Wachowski’s  they never do small, so we expected something big, but looking at the trailers we have below it’s truly epic. If your like me, no idea what’s going it makes you think should I read the book before I see the film? In the first video below Lana, Andy Wachoski and Tom Tykwer attempt to explain the ideas, concept behind creating the film and there’s lots to explain about then we have the trailer running nearly 6 minutes in length. Everything feels impressive about this film, the story itself, the scope, the cast but how many times have we said this about a film and been disappointed with the final outcome, probably down to our over anticipation for the film.

Cloud Atlas explores how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future.

It’s amazing to believe this is the same team that brought us Matrix re-load which brings my only concern for the film the dialogue which was the downfall for that film but looking at this it does seem to flow well enough. It’s an ambitious project which should win the hearts of many cinephiles worldwide. Cloud Atlas is due to be released October 26th and stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, Ben Whishaw, James D’Arcy, Xun Zhou, Keith David, David Gyasi, Susan Sarandon, and Hugh Grant.
