Watch The Crazy Trailer For Lego Star Wars Holiday Special!

Ho! Ho! Ho! the gang are reunited later this month when Star Wars Holiday Special is released. I hear you say ‘Holiday Special’?!In the style of those M&S food TV Ads, this is no ordinary Holiday special, this is a Lego Star Wars Holiday Special!

There will be some people about to cringe with nightmares of the 1978 Christmas Special which is now deeply infused in the franchise mythology mostly for the wrong reasons. We all know the fun (& funny) tone of the Lego films and this 44 minute special looks to have a slice of that tone.

All the gang are back plus some crossover characters from the franchise in a time travelling story that’s set around Rey. Who is heading to Life Day, who must first head to the Jedi Temple to learn more. Cue crossover chaos and yes folks there is a Baby Yoda!

Check out the Official Trailer.

The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special reunites Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewie, Rose and the droids for a joyous feast on Life Day. Rey sets off on a new adventure with BB-8 to gain a deeper knowledge of the Force. At a mysterious Jedi Temple, she is hurled into a cross-timeline adventure through beloved moments in Star Wars cinematic history, coming into contact with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan and other iconic heroes and villains from all nine Skywalker saga films. But will she make it back in time for the Life Day feast and learn the true meaning of holiday spirit?

Voice wise not all cast are onboard to voice their Star Wars character. Who is onboard are Kelly Marie Tran ( Rose Tico), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian), and Anthony Daniels (C-3PO). Joining them are, The Clone Wars actors Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), Tom Kane (Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn), James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Dee Bradley Baker (Clone Troopers). Ken Cunningham (Lego Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nublar) is onboard to direct.

The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special is streaming on Disney+ from 17th November.
