Photography and activism take centre stage in documentary Shoot The People. Watermelon Pictures are set to release the film later in the summer, today we get a look at the official Teaser Trailer.
The film is directed by award winning filmmaker Andy Mundy-Castle (White Nanny Black Child). Shoot The People features photographer, filmmaker and activist Misan Harriman. The film documents the Nigerian born British Misan and his journey documenting the global protest movement. Driving for social change and Misan rose from the ashes of The Black Lives Matter movement and becoming first black photographer to shoot the cover of The British Vogue magazine.
This film looks to be a film that does lean towards political side. However if you adore photography this also highlights if you capture the right moment how powerful your photos can be.

Shoot The People will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 10th July (in U.S 19th June).
