Watch New Mind Bending The Matrix Resurrections Trailer

Will this be the story we think it is or something completely different? Behold with 3 weeks to go until Warner Bros release The Matrix Resurrections and things are about to get a lot more mind bending and confusing in a new Trailer.

The latest promo may only be running at just over the minute mark, it teases a lot of questions. The trailer comes with the title of Deja Vu, which reflects the feeling that you may have experienced this before. We don’t know a lot about what exactly what the plot will be all about, however one of the rumours is that the new Matrix is set within a Matrix! It’s feels like a film with many layers, is Neo still under control?

There’s certainly a glitch in The Matrix and this new promo does splice up things with footage from the first trailer with old stuff. There is new footage in this one to make it worthwhile a watch, but actually happened to Neo (Keanu Reeves) and Trinity (Carrie Anne Moss) to forget about each other? Jean Baudrillard’s 1981 Simulacra and Simulation has inspired this film a lot. What’s real and what’s hyperreal? Symbolism and society, red pill or blue pill.

It’s been a hell of a long time since the previous 3 films, here’s hoping they have learned their lessons. We maybe confused dot com on what’s going on, we’re excited to see how this one turns out…
