Unnatural Selection beckons in the intense UK Trailer for indie Australian sci-fi thriller In Vitro.

Plaion Pictures are set to give Will Howarth and Tom McKeith‘s film a release later this year. However in a couple of weeks the film will be heading to the Glasgow Film Festival for it’s UK premiere.

Talia Zucker (Lake Mungo) leads the cast in this one (she is also a co-writer on the film too). Starring alongside her is Ashley Zukerman (Succession, Apple Cider Vinegar), as well as co-director Will Howarth (Beast).

In Vitro takes us into the near future rural Australia. Layla and her husband Jack run a remote cattle farm, the business is struggling too. She is also not enjoying the isolation and things get worse when the consequences of the technology on the farmed deliver unsettling results. When the power is cut from the farm they soon discover they are not alone and something dark has been unleashed.

This isn’t your a high impact sci-fi but one that takes a more lo-fi approach. Pushes into the existential territory, expect the unexpected in this chiller.

Layla lives on a remote cattle property with her husband, Jack, who has developed a new process for breeding livestock. But the farm is struggling and the isolated existence is not the life Layla dreamed of, especially when a number of unsettling events occur on the property. As Layla starts to question her life with Jack, she discovers that there is a disturbing presence with them on the farm.

In Vitro is set for its UK Premiere at Glasgow Film Festival on 27th February [Book/More Info]. The film will be released across Digital Platforms later this year in the UK and Ireland.
