From Wanted To Hunted Two New TV Spots For SAFE HOUSE Starring Denzil Washington, Ryan Reynolds
For a film that’s only 6 weeks away SAFE HOUSE marketing train has been a bit thin on the side of promotion, we’ve had no British trailer, one trailer a few images and posters and today we can add 2 new tv spots. Don’t get me wrong sometimes the minimum promotion does the job and it seems Universal Pictures are counting on this type of promotion a film starring Denzil Washington and Ryan Reynolds. Living up to the slogan of the film No one is safe these new spots (which show off new footage)named ‘Wanted’, ‘Hunted’ in reference to Washington’s character who is the ‘most dangerous renegade from CIA’ who comes back into the grid after 10 years on the run but as we’ll learn no such thing as a safe house when your wanted 36 different countries not even one of your 14 identities can keep you safe. So when you come under attack can the rookie cop Reynolds keep you safe ? The film marks the English feature debut of Swedish director Daniel Espinosa who directed Easy Money better known as Snabba Cash which is a cult hit with world cinema fans and it does look a promising solid thriller especially with Washington playing Mr Nasty once again.
Safe House will be released in UK&Ireland February 24th( USA Feb 10th) and also stars Brendan Gleeson, Sam Shepard, Vera Farmiga, Fares Fares, Robert Patrick, Nora Arnezeder, Liam Cunningham, Joel Kinnaman.
