VisionQuest Trailer Gives First Look at Marvel’s New Series
The final instalment for the WandaVision trilogy is near. Marvel Studios has released the first trailer for VisionQuest at D23, and you can watch it here.
In the new trailer, Paul Bettany stars as Vision, the former Avenger who was first introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron but later died in Avengers: Infinity War. “It’s been an enormous joy playing Vision as he’s evolved through the years, helped turned the tide in some enormous battles… rather inconveniently died a number of times … Although I’m told in the Marvel universe no one is really dead unless Kevin says they are,” Bettany shares before unveiling the brand new trailer.
The trailer opens with Vision in his human form working in a pub, when his co-worker says, “Before you started working here, I remember when you would come in all the time with that redhead.” Referencing Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), who held Vision and an entire village hostage in WandaVision to live a normal life. “I was a different person back then,” he responds as he looks down at the “W+V” initials carved into the wood of the bar.

In the upcoming series, Vision is rebooted and escapes from those who want to weaponise him, setting out to find a new purpose among the AI personas hidden within his programming, including Ultron. However, his new life is disrupted when a bounty is placed on his head, forcing him on the run alongside Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be the reincarnation of Vision’s son. As Vision fights to evade capture, he must confront his own nature, resist Ultron’s influence and uncover the truth behind his young companion if he hopes to survive.
VisionQuest also features James Spader as Ultron, Todd Stashwick as Paladin and Faran Tahir reprising his role as Raz from Iron Man. The cast also includes Lauren Morais, Diane Morgan, Orla Brady, Polly Frame, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, with Emily Hampshire and James D’Arcy.
VisionQuest premieres on Disney+ on the 14th October.
