Optimum Releasing this afternoon have sent us over the offical UK Trailer for Spanish Horror Thriller JULIA’S EYES (Los Ojos De Julia) which is getting a UK cinema release on May 20th.

Julia’s Eyes is directed by Guillem Morales which has the seal of approval by Guillermo Del Toro who took the young director Morales under his supervisorary wing producing what looks a real cracking scary movie.I covered this movie in Cinehouse last year on its promotion for its Spanish release  and Julia’s Eyes is slightly inspired by The Pang Brother’s THE EYE but with Del Toro involved he will make sure the movie has its own twisted elements. This trailer was  also played in front of Scream 4 last week and listening to the other movie goers in the screen it did get a good response.

The movie stars Belén Rueda, Lluís Homar and Pablo Derqui.

Julia (Belén Rueda), a woman suffering from degenerative sight disease, finds her twin sister Sara, who has already gone blind as a result of the same disease, hanged in the basement of her house. In spite of the fact that everything points to suicide, Julia decides to investigate what she intuitively feels is a murder case, entering a dark world that seems to hide a mysterious presence.?

Below the trailer check out some new images and uk poster promoting the movie
