Ti West’s X Trailer Is ‘Dying’ To Show You A Good Time

Are you looking for a good time? Later this year Ti West hopes to give you one with the release of X. A24 Films have released the U.S Trailer for the film that marks the director’s return to the horror genre.

West returns to film after six years away from the camera with a slasher horror. No ordinary slasher, it will take us back to the 1970’s, and a wild horror ride onto a porn shoot! Yes kids horror on an adult film set, a young woman who wants to be famous!

The film stars Jenna Ortega, Mia Goth, Scott Mescudi, Brittany Snow, Martin Henderson, Owen Campbell and Stephen Ure. We find ourselves in 1979 a group of young filmmakers head into rural Texas to find the perfect location for their adult film. They find a farm and request the reclusive elderly farmers to use their barn. They agree, however when the elderly host take interest in what’s going on, the cast find themselves fighting for their lives.

West is of course a popular filmmaker in genre and especially horror. He released The House of the Devil, The Innkeepers, and The Sacrament. His last film, Western In A Valley Of Violence starred Ethan Hawke. This film may not be exactly blessed with 100% originality, it does suggest an fresh twist on the genre. Tobe Hooper’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre certainly looks an big inspiration. X does say don’t judge anyone by their age, it could cost you your life!

Ti West‘s X is set for release in the U.S.A on 18th March. As for UK and Ireland, we are unaware of who is distributing the film and what release date. We have heard 13th March that date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
