A Cure For Wellness - Eel Bath

Are you ready to take the cure and take back your life? Ahead of Gore Verbinski’s psychologicalย horror A Cure For Wellness later this month we have a new Superbowl TV Spot and sinister clip for your visual medication….

First up is the Superbowl TV Spot ย (UK Version) which plays like a proper infomercial intertwined with footage from the movie. The footage we’ve some of it already, but there snippets of new footage including a tease of how Dane Dehaan‘s character lands in the ‘medical centre’

Now your ready to take that cure fancy a dip in the water? In a sinister new clip entitle the ‘Pond‘ our young executive (Dehaan) meets a young girl (Mia Goth). They meet at the pond, she asks “Are you here for the cure?”, He wants to leaves, but no one leaves!

In A Cure For Wellness, an ambitious young executive(Dehaan) is sent to retrieve his companyโ€™s CEO from an idyllic but mysterious โ€œwellness centreโ€ at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. He soon suspects that the spaโ€™s miraculous treatments are not what they seem. When he begins to unravel its terrifying secrets, his sanity is tested, as he finds himself diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests here longing for the cure.

The reviews are now out but we won’t dabble on that until we see the movie ourselves. We’re hopeful it will be a movie of style and substance, not just one or the other. It reminds us of a creepy horror set in Paolo Sorrentino’s Youth, crossed with Shutter Island or some Guillermo Del Toro Gothic nightmare, all 3 we love.

A Cure For Wellness is set for a 24th February UK&Irish release date, co-starring (Hello to) Jason Isaacs and Adrian Schiller.
