The Second The Woman In Black UK Trailer

After just finding enough pairs of clean underwear after watching the last trailer in succession back in August Momentum Pictures have unveiled the second full UK Trailer for The Woman In Black starring Daniel Radcliffe. There’s certainly a renaissance  going on in horror currently with many more film studio’s heading back the way in time looking for the scares in gothic horror  with the likes of The Awakening  even Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark, The Raven  and The Woman In Black.

This new trailer does show alot of new footage diving deeper and darker into the film’s plot and suggesting the film’s protagonist should maybe consider having a few extra pair of pants with him  in case of emergencies. Daniel Radcliffe plays young lawyer Arthur Kipps who heads to the estate of a recently deceased client to sort out the paperwork As he works alone in the client’s isolated house, Kipps begins to uncover tragic secrets, his unease growing when he glimpses a mysterious woman dressed only in black. Receiving only silence from the locals, Kipps is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own, leading to a desperate race against time when he discovers her true intent.

Ciaran Hinds, Liz White, Janet McTeer, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Roger Allam, Daniel Cerqueira, Shaun Dooley, Mary Stockley, Cathy Sara, David Burke, Victor McGuire and Lucy May Barker all star in this spooktastic film which will arrive in UK&Ireland on February 10th 2012.

Based on the classic ghost story, THE WOMAN IN BLACK tells the tale of Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe), a lawyer who is forced to leave his young son and travel to a remote village to attend to the affairs of the recently deceased owner of Eel Marsh House.Working alone in the old mansion, Kipps begins to uncover the town’s tragic and tortured secrets and his fears escalate when he discovers that local children have been disappearing under mysterious circumstances. When those closest to him become threatened by the vengeful woman in black, Kipps must find a way to break the cycle of terror.
