The Impossibilties Are Endless In New Doctor Strange UK Trailer

Doctor Strange

He’s ready to open his mind and he will this October and today Marvel Entertainment & Disney Pictures open our eyes with a new trippy UK trailer for Doctor Strange. There wasn’t enough hours in a day to share the goodies from Comic Con last night  and this morning Marvel takes us deeper into their Phase 3 with latest promo….

He is the Sorcerer Supreme Master of the dark arts as Marvel moves away from spandex wearing mutants with superpowers to characters of mystery and magic. If your drained after the epic Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange will be a welcoming change but still be a film with plenty of destruction, epic action, strange characters who want to destroy us. Most of All Strange will learn he doesn’t have anything, but he must learn to understand our reality.

Doctor Strange follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange(Benedict Cumberbatch) who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions. Hoping to regain his skills once again Strange looks to the unique mystic Healer known as the Ancient One to help him finding himself a master of the mystic arts. Thus bringing great responsibilities thanks to those great powers.

The trailer does have a big focus on Strange and his relationship with The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton)and a look at the time portals that lets her travel and eventually Strange too. This opens a number of possibilities as these portals let them time travel too.If you know the character’s comic history, many of Doctor Strange‘s stories have involved him travelling through time especially alternate universes. Like all the previous Marvel Films, this does share similar tone and has plenty of funny moments too. What really grabs our attention is the film’s visuals which are striking they also remind us at times of The Matrix, even Inception.

Doctor Strange is set for a 25th October UK release (USA 4th November). The film also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor , Michael Stuhlbarg, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Scott Adkins, Amy Landecker, and Mads Mikkelsen.
