The Fear Rises In New Trailer For 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple
Things seem to be getting more intense in this brand new trailer for 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, released by Sony Pictures Releasing earlier today.
This highly anticipated sequel, which stars Ralph Fiennes, Alfie Williams, Jack OโConnell, Erin Kellyman, and Chi Lewis-Parry, looks to expand upon the late Jimmy Saville-esque cult that appeared at the end of 28 Years Later. The trailer, which comes after the official poster was released a few weeks ago, confirms that the sequel will revolve heavily around this cult-like group led by the mysterious Jimmy Crystal (OโConnell) and how long Spike (Williams) can survive whilst in their ranks.
The trailer also dives further into Dr Kelson’s (Fiennes) journey into understanding how the infected operate and what caused the outbreak in the first place. This will surely lead to many tense encounters with the infected and the aforementioned group as they attempt to work together with Kelson for their own nefarious means.
Synopsis | Expanding upon the world created by Danny Boyle and Alex Garland in 28 Years Later โ but turning that world on its head โ Nia DaCosta directs 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. In a continuation of the epic story, Dr. Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) finds himself in a shocking new relationship โ with consequences that could change the world as they know it โ and Spikeโs (Alfie Williams) encounter with Jimmy Crystal (Jack OโConnell) becomes a nightmare he canโt escape. In the world of The Bone Temple, the infected are no longer the greatest threat to survival โ the inhumanity of the survivors can be stranger and more terrifying.
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 16th January 2026.
