The Duplo’s Attack! The Lego Movie 2 UK Trailer Heads Into Space

The LEGO® Movie 2

The Lego Movie 2 release is slowly getting closer and that old chestnut, everything is awesome today as Warner Bros release another new UK Trailer. As our favourite animated toy bricks blast off into space as the Duplo bricks attack!

After a couple of post-apocalyptic Trailers, we’re now in space. We wonder if this promo is set in a different time as those earlier trailers? Do the events in space affect what happens in Brickburg? It seems this trailer teases what happened at the end of the first film with the Duplo invaders.

Plenty of new footage and loses ends between the films now tied up. Dare I say we have another ‘awesome’ film on the cards?

“The LEGO® Movie 2” reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all-new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city. It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild. The battle to defeat them and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman and their friends to far away, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and reveal just how special they really are.

Reprising their fan-favourite characters from “The LEGO Movie” are Chris Pratt as Emmet, Elizabeth Banks as Lucy (aka Wyldstyle), Will Arnett as LEGO BatmanTM, Nick Offerman as Metal Beard, and Alison Brie as Unikitty. They are joined by Tiffany Haddish, Stephanie Beatriz, and Arturo Castro as, respectively, new characters Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi, Sweet Mayhem and Ice Cream Cone.

The LEGO® Movie 2 will be released in the UK, Irish and U.S Cinemas from February 8th, 2019.
