The Lego Movie 2 New Second Trailer Is ‘Mayhem’

When the first Trailer for The Lego Movie 2 arrived, it teased us things look like will be awesome once again. It also teased, the follow up will be in a whole new world, possibly a Mad Max style one. Now Warner Bros has released a new second UK Trailer things are going to be ‘Mayhem’!

Things might be looking awesome for us, however for Emmet (Chris Pratt) things are not! We find ourselves fighting for the survival of their hometown under the attack from LEGO DUPLO.

Tiffany Haddish character Sweet Mayhem does take some of this trailer’s limelight. Most of all the humour, the tone that made us love the first film so much is still present. Phil Lord and Chris Miller originally left this film to get involved in Solo: A Star Wars Story, only to come back to script this film. Visually looks different but fits perfectly into the film’s aesthetic.

“The LEGO® Movie 2” reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all-new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city. It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild. The battle to defeat them and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman and their friends to far away, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and reveal just how special they really are.

Reprising their fan-favourite characters from “The LEGO Movie” are Chris Pratt as Emmet, Elizabeth Banks as Lucy (aka Wyldstyle), Will Arnett as LEGO BatmanTM, Nick Offerman as Metal Beard, and Alison Brie as Unikitty. They are joined by Tiffany Haddish, Stephanie Beatriz, and Arturo Castro as, respectively, new characters Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi, Sweet Mayhem and Ice Cream Cone.

The LEGO® Movie 2 will be released in the UK, Irish and U.S Cinemas from February 8th, 2019.
