The Cast For Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Appear On New Poster

After the release of Uncharted last weekend, those yearning for a decent video game adaptation, must have had their hopes dashed. Sonic The Hedgehog was an unexpected hit in 2021 and probably the best video game film to date so Sonic The Hedgehog 2 expectations will be high.

The sequel is only a couple of months away, Paramount Pictures have teased us with the release of a new Poster which seems to have everyone who will appear in the film on it. The pivotal part is the two hedgehogs at the bottom, Sonic (Ben Schwartz) and Knuckles (Idris Elba) ready to battle for the chaos emerald!

Also released in the past week was a new TV Spot which also pushes the fact our little blue hedgehog now has someone who might just match him on everything. The real competition begins…

The world’s favourite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2 cast also includes James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, Lee Majdoub, and Shemar Moore. The film’s UK and Irish release date has been announced and that day will be 1st April.
