The best never rest  in 2 new TV Spots for RED 2 which reveal that everyone’s favourite extremely dangerous and retired agents are back in the game as well as on mission.

The fun heads to Europe as Frank Moses (Bruce Willis) ex-CIA operative finds himself targeted for assassination when MI6 give the greenlight to hunt their most wanted. But as Frank and his elite of retired bad asses attempt to find the missing portable nuclear device he discovers the one hunting him is none other than Victoria (Helen Mirren)!

When Red came out it was one of those films I couldn’t force myself to go and see in the cinema, but a few months ago I did catch the film on one of the ‘popular online video platforms’, I have to admit I rather enjoyed it. From what we’ve seen in the trailer along with these TV Spots, Red 2 still looks a highly entertaining film. It’s not perfect, silly film with an array of great characters with humour to match. The trailer played in front of Behind The Candelabra at the cinema yesterday and the reaction was very positive probably thanks to the great chemistry the characters have with each other. We looking at a possible long running franchise? Possibly, with it’s origins in comicbook, there’s a good chance it wil.

Red 2 stars John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones,  Brian Cox and Neal McDonough. The film will be released in UK&Ireland on 2nd August with USA release 2 weeks earlier on 19th July.

Synopsis

In RED 2, the high-octane action-comedy sequel to the worldwide sleeper hit, retired black-ops CIA agent Frank Moses reunites his unlikely team of elite operatives for a global quest to track down a missing portable nuclear device. To succeed, they’ll need to survive an army of relentless assassins, ruthless terrorists and power-crazed government officials, all eager to get their hands on the next-generation weapon. The mission takes Frank and his motley crew to Paris, London and Moscow. Outgunned and outmanned, they have only their cunning wits, their old-school skills, and each other to rely on as they try to save the world-and stay alive in the process.
