Taylor Sheridan Talks About Wind River In New Featurette

Next month Taylor Sheridan the man who wrote Sicario, Hell Or High Water will make his directorial debut with Wind River. After premiering at Sundance Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival STX Entertainment picked up the movie for its UK and Irish cinema release.

After recently watching a behind the scenes featurette looking at the movies lead actor Jeremy Renner, today it’s all about the man behind the pen and lens. Taylor Sheridan is one of those writers (now filmmaker) who like to get immersed in his surroundings and in this new promo he talks about that and his thoughts on the movie. Amongst the new footage, you’ll see in this promo, there are insights from Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen.

WIND RIVER follows U.S. Fish & Wildlife agent CORY LAMBERT as he is forced to confront his past when he joins a rookie FBI agent in a quest to solve a murder on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming.Cory Lambert discovers a body in the rugged wilderness of the Wind River Indian Reservation. The situation is eerily similar to the death of his own daughter. The FBI sends rookie agent JANE BANNER to investigate. A Florida native, Jane is completely unprepared for the oppressive weather and isolation that is the essence of winter in Wyoming, and the extreme difficulties it places of the investigation. She employs Cory as a guide and tracker to assist her.

Wind River will be released in UK and Ireland from 8th September, co-starring Elizabeth Olsen, Gil Birmingham, Jon Bernthal, Julia Jones, Kelsey Asbille, James Jordan.
