Sunday Short Theatre – After We Have Left Our Homes (2020)
Another weekend, another lockdown and another Short Film to ease your isolation pain. This week’s Sunday Short Theatre we delve into the Sci-fi Noir ‘After We Have Left Our Homes.’
This 8 minute short film comes from Canadian filmmaker Marc Adamson. We find our selves in a dystopian world were music is banned. When a man stumbles across a warehouse full of ‘banned items’, things change!
In our world of lockdown, if music is your love, how would you survive if it was banned? We’re living in terrifying times and the longer we wait for ‘ease’ of lockdown, the thought of things we love coming back, is unthinkable.
Under a dictatorship that has banned music, a man hides a record until he is caught. Whilst paying for his crimes he stumbles across a repository of confiscated items, leading to events that will change the course of history.
