Stay Agile In First Trailer For Jesse Eisenberg’s A Real Pain

Stay light, stay agile as Searchlight Pictures release the  first UK Teaser Trailer for Jesse Eisenberg‘s upcoming comedy A Real Pain.

A holiday through Poland turns chaotic in the Eisenberg‘s sophomore directorial feature. The debut feature being the 2022 When You Finish Saving The World starred Julianne Moore. Like the debut feature this made it’s world premiere bac in January at Sundance Film Festival.

In A Real Pain, Eisenberg also stars along side Kieran Culkin both play cousins. They are on holiday in Europe and Poland to honour recently passed grandmother. The pair maybe related, tension fills the air really quickly when old family affairs surface.

The film was a big favourite with cinephiles and critics at Sundance. It did pick up the festivals screenplay award mixing emotional drama and comedy. This doesn’t look a slow burner, certainly offbeat and like any family we love them but can get annoyed with them too.

A Real Pain follows mismatched cousins David (Jesse Eisenberg) and Benji (Kieran Culkin) reunite for a tour through Poland to honor their beloved grandmother. The adventure takes a turn when the odd-couple’s old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history.

The cast also includes Will Sharpe, Jennifer Grey, Kurt Egyiawan, Liza Sadovy, and Daniel Oreskes. We are still a long way away from this releasing, A Real Pain will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 10th January 2025.
