Sparks Fly In People We Meet On Vacation Trailer
The official trailer for People We Meet on Vacation has dropped and it sees sparks fly between longtime best friends, Alex and Poppy.
Tom Blyth and Emily Bader star in this romance based on the book of the same name by Emily Henry. The pair travel the world together as they seemingly begin to recognise feelings for one another.
Blyth most recently starred in Plainclothes, but he found fame as Coriolanus Snow in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Meanwhile, Bader has starred in TV’s My Lady Jane.
official synopsis | Free-spirited Poppy and routine-loving Alex have been unlikely best friends for a decade, living in different cities but spending every summer vacation together. The careful balance of their friendship is put to the test when they begin to question what has been obvious to everyone else — could they actually be the perfect romantic match?
Brett Haley, of All The Bright Places, directs this screenplay, written by Yulin Kuang and Amos Vernon & Nunzio Randazzo.
Other cast members include Sarah Catherine Hook, Lucien Laviscount, Miles Heizer, Jameela Jamil, Tommy Do, Lukas Gage, Alice Lee, with Molly Shannon and Alan Ruck.
Haley told Tudum: “This story lives or dies on the chemistry between Alex and Poppy — and Emily and Tom’s chemistry is electric. They capture that opposites-attract dynamic in a way that feels effortless and true.”
People We Meet On Vacation releases globally on Netflix on 9th January, 2026.
