Hugh Jackman & Kate Hudson Are A Neil Diamond Tribute Band In Song Sung Blue Trailer

Universal Pictures and Focus Features have released the first trailer for their upcoming drama Song Sung Blue, and you can watch it below!

Based on a true story, Song Sung Blue stars Hugh Jackman (The Greatest Showman, Deadpool & Wolverine) and Kate Hudson (Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, Running Point) and is directed by Craig Brewer, the filmmaker behind Hustle & Flow and Dolemite Is My Name, and is based on the  2008 documentary of the same name by Grey Kohs.

The story of two musicians (Jackman & Hudson) from different upbringings and life experiences who form a Neil Diamond tribute band, known as Lightning & Thunder, and become local icons in the process. The two then embark on a journey that shows it’s never too late to follow your dreams. The film also stars Michael Imperioli, Mustafa Shakir, Fisher Stevens, Ella Anderson, King Princess, Hudson Hensley, and Jim Belushi.

Song Sung Blue is due in US cinemas on Christmas Day, and in the UK on January 1st.
