It Comes At Night

Outside the big players, Modern Horror has never been so healthy, not perfect but the best it’s been in a while. The arthouse horror genre seems to be area of the genre that seems to be thriving the strongest and Trey Edward Shults It Comes At Night teases that trend will continue in 2017.

Today a 90 second teaser trailer creeps online courtesy of A24, a brooding nerve-shredding dive into the depths of the horror genre. A trailer that only teases on the story, of a man who’ll do anything to protect his family from the malevolent danger that lurks outside his door.

Mostly this trailer is all about the tone rather than the plot details of the movie. It looks rather awesome, a collage of disturbing imagery, one that leaves you wondering what exactly is threatening everyone. This looks full of atmosphere that will suffocate any terrified victim. We may have just found our The VVitch for 2017.

Imagine the end of the world— Now imagine something worse.
