The Snowman First Trailer Chills Your Heart As Fassbender Hunts A Killer

It’s been a long time coming and Jo Nesbø will soon have one of his creations on the big screen and it’s his main man, Harry Hole. As promised yesterday after we showed off the first teaser poster, today Universal Pictures unveiled the first UK Trailer for The Snowman!Michael Fassbender is Harry Hole and in this first trailer, he hunts a serial killer who will chill anyone’s, heart.

It will be a great sigh of relief with this trailer is now finally in the public domain and that Harry Hole is coming to a big screen in a few months time. This new trailer does reveal the basic plotlines and those who have read the books know this won’t be a straightforward crime story. This is all about Detective Hole and he is an unconventional detective but one of passion, wit most of all delivers results no matter how. This trailer doesn’t reveal too much of those tropes and teases that there is a dark story going on here too. Will be interesting to see how far Thomas Alfredson will go with this one especially when your killer is a ‘snowman’?! Expect the unexpected!

When an elite crime squad’s lead detective (Fassbender) investigates the disappearance of a victim of the first snow of winter, he fears an elusive serial killer may be active again. With the help of a brilliant recruit (Ferguson), the cop must connect decades-old cold cases to the brutal new one if he hopes to outwit this unthinkable evil before the next snowfall.

The Snowman is out in the UK and Ireland from 13th October, co-starring Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Val Kilmer, Toby Jones, J.K. Simmons, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Chloë Sevigny and Sofia Helin.
