The Superbowl still keeps giving to cinephiles today with a new short Big Game TV Spot for A Quiet Place: Day One. “Shhhh!” Watch and breathe in and embrace the chaos!
Last week Paramount Pictures released the first full Teaser trailer. If you didn’t realise from the film’s title, this new edition of A Quiet Place franchise is a prequel. Back to how it all began, how humanity tried to adapt and survive the terrifying monsters that invaded our little planet.
Whatever you do, don’t let them hear you scream! Lupita Nyong’o and her cat will be the ones we’ll follow in Day One, living in the heart of New York City. This promo spot is only 30 seconds long, and the main audio we’ll assume is her character Sam. Who seems to be taking those anxiety free deep breathes so she can escape, but where can she escape too?
As we’ve learned from A Quiet Place and the sequel, those small towns in the countryside aren’t safe either. That alternative might come from Djimon Hounsou‘s character who we first meet in the second film. So could it be the island?
