On eve of the Oscar weekend it’s no surprise upcoming films will try jump on the bandwagon and make some harmless fun at the nominations. Step forward ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT our animated prehistoric friends with everyone’s favourite prehistoric squirrel, Scrat, giving an Oscar-worthy performance in his very own ode to silent cinema: “The ScrATIST”! Twentieth Century Fox have sent us this fun featurette/trailer and are alot better than previous incarnations for the film but i’m sure people will enjoy this one as it’s The Artist one of Sundays hot favourites, so what do you think?
One of filmdom’s most beloved trios – “Ice Age’s” Manny, Diego, and Sid – embark upon their greatest adventure after cataclysm sets an entire continent adrift. Separated from the rest of the herd, they use an iceberg as a makeshift ship, which launches them on an epic seafaring quest. Manny and the gang are challenged like never before to become heroes and do the impossible, as they encounter exotic sea creatures, explore a brave new world, and battle ruthless pirates. Scrat’s reunion with his beloved but cursed acorn catapults him to places no prehistoric squirrel has gone before.
Ice-Age Continental Drift stars the voice talents of Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, Queen Latifa and Seann William Scott, ,Jennifer Lopez, Nick Frost, Seann William Scott, Aziz Ansari and Alan Tudyk and is set for release on 6th July 2012.
