Ryan Reynold’s Is A ‘Great Guy’ In Free Guy UK Trailer

Life is too short to be a background character as Ryan Reynolds becomes the hero in his own story in Free Guy. 20th Century Studios have released a brand new UK Trailer for this action comedy that originally was meant to be in cinemas last year.

Like Guy re-writing themselves and releasing this Summer with the Pandemic easing off enough for cinemas to reopen. Reynolds stars as Guy a man in average job and life who quickly learns he lives in a video game . He’s a NPC (Non-player character) and decides he no longer wants to be in the background, rewrites his life to become the hero.

This does feel like Reynolds in that Deadpool mode which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Some might like him to step out of that shadow this does like pretty good. Fun escapist popcorn fodder we all need once and while.

In “Free Guy,” a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, decides to become the hero of his own story…one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way…before it is too late. Starring Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Lil Rel Howery, Joe Keery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi, “Free Guy” is directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay by Matt Lieberman and Zak Penn and a story by Lieberman. The film is produced by Ryan Reynolds, p.g.a., Shawn Levy, p.g.a., Sarah Schechter, Greg Berlanti and Adam Kolbrenner with Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, George Dewey, Dan Levine and Michael Riley McGrath serving as executive producers.

Some of the video gaming world’s most influential figures drop in for cameos in “Free Guy,” including: Imane “Pokimane” Anys, Lannan “LazarBeam” Eacott, Seán William “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and Daniel “DanTDM” Middleton.
